A fourth-generation Angeleno and longtime real estate owner-operator, he is also Chairman & CEO of Brookhill Corp. and a Board Member & Vice-President of the Wilbur May Foundation, directing its annual charitable giving across Los Angeles.
Brian Rosenstein serves as a Los Angeles City Planning Commissioner — appointed by Mayor Karen Bass and unanimously confirmed by City Council to a term ending in 2029 — bringing both a practitioner’s and a policymaker’s perspective to housing, zoning, and land use in one of the country’s most complex urban markets. He is also Chairman & CEO of Brookhill Corp., a privately held real estate investment firm he has led since 2018. A fourth-generation Angeleno born and raised in Los Angeles, Brian is a Board Member & Vice-President of the Wilbur May Foundation, directing its giving to organizations serving Angelenos in crisis — and helped lead his family’s founding support for the Anita May Rosenstein Campus at the Los Angeles LGBT Center: 135 affordable homes and 100 shelter beds for young people experiencing homelessness.
